Perform Plumber job assignments according to MTech Mechanical safety standards and guidelines, and within budgetary constraints. This position requires a valid Journeyman or Master Plumbing License. The role involves installing sanitary systems, water systems, fuel systems, fixtures, and equipment. The Plumbing Journeyman is responsible for directing field crew members, submitting daily progress reports, ordering materials, maintaining jobsite organization and housekeeping, and ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of company equipment. They are also responsible for accurate accounting of labor hours, material sheets, and change orders, as well as instructing and training apprentices/crew members with an emphasis on safety. Maintaining necessary licensing/certification, knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards, and ensuring necessary inspections are made are also key responsibilities. The role supports total quality efforts, identifies and responds to customer needs, and works within the guidelines of the safety and employee policy, promoting MTech business values and culture, and proper use of company assets. Regular and predictable attendance is expected.
