Travis Electrical Service is growing its plumbing team and looking for a skilled Plumbing Installer who wants more than just a paycheck. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in the plumbing trade
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and drain installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and reliable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- General knowledge of power tools and their safe use
- Understanding of current plumbing regulations
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Flexibility with work hours
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Ability to meet the company's drug-testing requirements
Responsibilities
- Installing, repairing, and replacing water supply lines, drain and waste systems, plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping systems, gas piping, and related plumbing components
- Inspecting and testing plumbing and drain systems
- Troubleshooting plumbing and drain issues
- Making sure installations and repairs meet applicable plumbing codes and Travis Electrical Service standards
- Communicating with customers about the work being performed and helping them understand their options
- Inspecting completed work to make sure the job was done right the first time
- Maintaining a clean, organized jobsite and service vehicle
- Keeping your truck properly stocked and ready for the day
- Following company safety practices on the job and while driving
- Participating in company training and team meetings
- Providing professional, respectful service that keeps customers coming back
