About The Position

Sierra Air is hiring plumbing installers and service plumbers to join its growing team. The role is suited to an experienced residential plumbing professional who can work independently, build and maintain customer relationships, and recommend appropriate solutions to customers’ plumbing needs. Qualifying candidates are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The stated pay range is $75,000–$150,000 USD; the posting also describes compensation of $75,000–$200,000+ including commission.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of plumbing experience.
• In-depth knowledge of code requirements for installing water heaters, tankless water heaters, water softeners, whole-home repipes, and redrains.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with ServiceTitan.
• Ability to work independently and self-manage.
• Ability to adapt to new roles and responsibilities.
• General sales skills and aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional conduct at all times.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Ability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders and maintain balance.
• Ability to regularly use hands to handle and feel objects, and to sit, walk, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to see both up close and at a distance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain pipes, valves, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential structures.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, code compliance, and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems.
• Prepare cost estimates.
• Collect payment for services rendered when required.
• Follow through on job problems and communicate issues with Dispatch.
• Keep up to date with company sales promotions and pricing.
• Attend training classes and seminars to maintain expertise in the field.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
