About The Position

Famous Supply is seeking a friendly, outgoing Warehouse/Counter Sales Associate with excellent customer service skills for its downtown Pittsburgh location. This role involves providing superior service to customers at the branch while maintaining a neat and organized warehouse. The company specializes in plumbing and HVAC, and knowledge in these fields is preferred for efficient customer service. Associates will handle large products such as water heaters and furnaces.

Requirements

• Customer service mindset
• Ability to use computer
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8-hour day
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Understand customer needs
• Provide the products and solutions to meet customer needs
• Process and schedule customer orders
• Manage Open Orders and customer Bids
• Pull orders from the warehouse to serve customers
• Keep counter area clean and organized
