About The Position

B2Q Associates is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plumbing & Fire Protection (P/FP) Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary design projects and support the continued growth of their engineering team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background, leadership capability, and a passion for delivering high-quality P/FP system designs across higher education and industrial/manufacturing projects. Over time, this position offers a clear path toward becoming a technical leader or market expert, with opportunities to shape design standards, mentor teams, and contribute to business development.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years in plumbing & fire protection engineering design.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil or similar Engineering discipline.
Experience managing engineering projects from conceptual design through construction while maintaining schedule and budget.
Ability to interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems, and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget.
Interest or experience in water conservation, electrification, energy efficiency, and resiliency.
Experience writing specifications.
Depth of knowledge of Building, Energy Codes, and NFPA Standards.
Depth of knowledge with AutoCAD and Revit.

Nice To Haves

Certified Plumbing Designer and/or EIT preferred.
Professional Engineer’s (PE) License not required, but also preferred.
