About The Position

FMM is seeking a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join its maintenance and construction company, which serves residential and commercial clients nationwide. This position assists with installing new plumbing systems on a multifamily construction project in Houma, Louisiana, and supports residential and commercial plumbing installation and repair. The role requires effective communication with clients, vendors, peers, and supervisors; the ability to work as part of a team and independently; and the ability to handle multiple projects while applying FMM’s core values of Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety, and Versatility. The position requires passing a drug screen and a Fit for Duty Screening. Tools are not required but are considered a significant plus. Other duties may be assigned. FMM reserves the right to change the position description at its discretion.

Requirements

Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing installation and service; the posting also lists one year of previous experience.
High school diploma.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well with a team and independently without instruction.
Problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with computers, texting, and email; tech-savvy and comfortable with mobile-friendly technology.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
