About The Position

Supply New England is seeking a Branch Manager to direct and coordinate the activities of the branch, including sales, warehouse, and delivery. This multifaceted role is crucial for the smooth functioning of the business, managing operations, inspiring the team, fostering growth, and contributing to the overall success of the company. The Branch Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, develop and implement strategic goals, manage personnel, oversee financial performance, ensure facility maintenance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Four to 10 years’ management/leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Management
Knowledge of industry – plumbing, heating, HVAC

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations at the branch, including managing sales, inventory, and customer service.
Ensure efficient workflows, minimize operating costs, and maintain high service levels.
Administer company policies and coordinate department activities to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward sales goals.
Review operations and plans to meet sales planning requirements and develop new markets.
Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives aligned with the company’s vision and mission, including improving processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving growth.
Hire and manage personnel to maintain workload and achieve branch objectives.
Build and lead a cohesive team while fostering individual and collective growth.
Review and maintain accurate timesheets and payroll records.
Write and deliver bi-annual performance reviews for the team.
Monitor the branch’s financial performance, including detailed profit and loss (P&L) analysis.
Implement cost-effective measures and contribute to overall profitability.
Ensure the facility’s safety and functionality, and maintain a neat, clean, and organized facility daily.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain a well-functioning branch.
Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives related to safety, quality, and performance.
Build relationships and view relationship building as a critical success tool.
Follow procedures accurately to ensure high-quality output and take action to correct quality problems.
