About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Plumbers for projects located in or around Prairie Village, KS. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $32-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Strong experience with PVC, copper, stainless, iron piping, gas line installation & commercial top tough plumbing
- Experience in a Retail or Commercial environment
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints & schematics
- Standard tools (pipe threaders, cutters, measuring tools, etc.), power tools as required
- Must have PPE
Responsibilities
- Laying out & installing top rough plumbing systems
- Measuring, cutting, threading & assembling piping (PVC, copper, stainless steel & iron)
- Installing & securing hangers, supports & pipe systems overhead & in ceilings/walls
- Performing gas line installation, testing & tie-ins
- Pressure testing systems & ensure leak free
- Coordinating with general contractors/trades on-site
- Maintaining a safe & clean work area
- Communicating daily with Foreman/Superintendent on progress & needs
