About The Position

St. Camillus is seeking a full-time, hourly Plumber to perform journey-level work on water-related equipment and fixtures across their campus. The role involves maintaining and repairing water-supply systems, waste lines, water heaters, pumps, valves, grease traps, boilers, heat exchangers, and related plumbing equipment. The Plumber will also install fixtures and piping, support preventive maintenance and compliance documentation, respond to facility plumbing needs, and assist other Environmental Services teams as assigned. This is a mission-driven role within a non-profit Life Plan Community dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship
At least five years of plumbing experience, including journey-level rough-in and finish work
Strong mechanical ability and aptitude
In-depth knowledge of plumbing methods, principles, procedures, codes, regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience with water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial, or institutional buildings
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Ability to safely perform physically demanding maintenance tasks
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
Willingness to respond to urgent facility plumbing issues during off-duty hours

Responsibilities
