About The Position

Performs journeyman level work and assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. Maintains the facilities with a focus on plumbing, temperature control, and HVAC systems. Adheres to performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values.

Requirements

• Experience sufficient to obtain license or certification in plumbing area.
• High school Diploma
• Intermediate language, basic math, high reasoning ability.
• Personal computer.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical inclination.
• Plumber journeyman license within 90 days of hire.
• Valid IA driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
