About The Position

Responsible for troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Plan and complete all necessary steps in the installation, maintenance, repair, and services of water, waste, and gas. Perform plumbing repairs, inspections, and tasks as required per work orders or scope of work. New installations, solder pipes, braise pipes, thread pipes, and pro-press. Drain maintenance, drain cleaning, jetting, and camera inspection. Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs, backflow balancing valves water heaters. Cut openings in structures to accommodate repairs using hand and power tools. Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to the required angle, using hand or power tools or machines. Estimate time and materials for use in each project. Purchase and deliver materials for the job. Read all technical data and MSDS information to maintain high-level safety on jobs and follow Safety Code of Conduct. Communicate field observations and job status to Management. Attend training and meetings as directed by Management. Assist with coworkers’ needs as directed by Management. Maintain a high-level safety on jobs and follow the safety code of conduct. Responsible for the safety of the site, team, and self. Record all time and expenses in ProTec Connect Daily.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of working experience in commercial and/or residential plumbing.
  • Valid Driver’s License without any driving restrictions.
  • No DUI or DWI in the past five years.
  • Ability to use various construction, power, and hand tools.
  • Possession of most necessary tools for job assignments.
  • Knowledgeable and able to perform research and problem-solving in most aspects of Plumbing.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, material applications, and tools.
  • Self-starting capabilities and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Good communication skills with customers and supervisors.
  • Able to work Overtime and On-Call Rotation schedule.
  • Basic knowledge of technology including basic computer skills and smartphone and tablet use.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade, OSHA, and Equipment Certifications are a plus.
