About The Position
Perform plumbing and welding maintenance and construction services within Facilities Services. This position serves as a welder for both construction and maintenance, and is responsible for new construction as well as maintenance and repair of existing facilities. The role fabricates components and takes direction from the primary contact for emergency welding repairs needed by any trade. A sign-on bonus of $4,668 is available to the successful applicant, paid in two installments within 12 months of hire: $2,334 within 30 days of the hire date and $2,334 12 months after the hire date. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Have a valid North Carolina Driver’s License or be able to obtain one before the start date.
