About The Position
Kennedy Mechanical is currently looking to hire multiple Plumbers. Kennedy Mechanical is a well-established company in Rochester, NY and with a large project in the Vestal area. Work schedule will be Monday-Friday, day shift.
Requirements
- Previous Plumbing Experience
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Self-motivated
- Mechanically inclined
- Verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Understanding of plumbing codes
- Utilizing various types of power tools
- Installing natural gas piping systems both steel and corrugated stainless steel tubing
- Installing sanitary waste and vent systems utilizing Sch 40 PVC, cast iron and copper
- Installation of roof drains and storm piping systems
- Installation of domestic hot water tanks and central hot water heating systems
- Installation of plumbing fixtures including toilets, sinks, showers and accessories
- Installation repair and maintenance of pump systems
- Read and understand project drawings and project specifications
