About The Position

We are seeking Plumbers to support the Veteran community in the Montgomery, AL area. These positions are open to all candidates, including Locum or Traveling professionals. The role involves testing joints and piping for leaks, installing and repairing valves, inspecting and testing piping after repairs, and periodically checking piping, fittings, and fixtures for defective parts or connections. Plumbers will also be responsible for disassembling, repairing damaged sections, or fabricating replacements, and fixing/repairing toilets and sinks using hand and power tools common to the trade.

Requirements

Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
3+ years of professional plumbing experience and knowledge in the construction field
OSHA 30-hour construction certification
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Work at heights and climb ladders.
Work in confined spaces.
Work in high temperatures.
Work in a noisy environment.
Work may involve potential hazardous exposures such as asbestos, machine parts, soot, dirt, grease, chemicals, oil, and fumes.
Ability to function safely while wearing a respirator - Work requiring an OSHA-approved respirator and proper fit tested.
Standing and bending for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with the VA is a plus.
