About The Position
We are hiring qualified Plumbers to support maintenance and repair operations across two VA medical campuses. This full-time role includes plumbing installation, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting in an active healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of documented plumbing experience required.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, noisy areas, high-heat conditions, and physically demanding environments.
- Must provide basic hand tools and comply with OSHA, respirator, and PPE requirements as applicable.
- Security screening and VA badge approval required before start.
Responsibilities
- Test joints and piping for leaks.
- Install and repair valves and plumbing system components.
- Inspect and test piping after repairs, alterations, or additions.
- Check piping, fittings, and fixtures for defective parts or connections.
- Disassemble and repair damaged sections or fabricate replacements.
- Repair toilets, sinks, and related plumbing fixtures using hand and power tools common to the trade.
