About The Position
1-800-Plumber +Air of Centreville is a locally owned and operated franchise providing residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC services throughout Northern Virginia. We are looking for a motivated Apprentice / Helper who is eager to learn the plumbing and HVAC trades and build a long-term career.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Previous plumbing, HVAC, construction, or mechanical experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians with installations, repairs, maintenance, and service calls.
- Help install plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping, HVAC equipment, and perform drain cleaning and basic repairs.
- Load and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Complete basic work orders and service documentation.
- Deliver professional customer service on every job.
