About The Position

The HVAC Service Apprentice performs field activities associated with supporting the installation, maintaining and servicing heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems at the customer site. Requirements

• 1+ years in a Commercial HVAC mechanical support role, meaning 1 year of experience in the field; and equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
• Electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history)
• Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
• Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned

Nice To Haves

• HVAC Trade School Graduate
• EPA / NATE certification a plus
• Prior military experience
• HS diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assists with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation
• Utilizes technical training to maintain systems
• Works well independently and as part of a team as required to ensure customer satisfaction
• Performs other job related duties as assigned
