About The Position

J. Blanton Plumbing is seeking Plumber Helpers with experience in hands-on, blue-collar jobs who are ready to start a career in the plumbing trade. No prior plumbing experience is necessary, as the company will provide training. The role involves supporting plumbers on service calls, repairs, and installations while learning the trade through hands-on experience. Requirements

• At least some experience in a blue-collar or hands-on role (construction, landscaping, warehouse, HVAC, roofing, manufacturing, etc.)
• No plumbing experience required. We'll train you.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Good physical condition and able to lift heavy materials and work in tight or confined spaces
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with cutting, assembling, and installing pipes
• Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
• Help with repairs such as leaks and clogged drains
• Learn how fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, and ejector pumps are installed and serviced
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures on every job
• Represent the company professionally with every customer
