About The Position
Skillforce is hiring plumber helpers on an active commercial site in the Charlottesville area. You will work alongside licensed plumbers setting fixtures, prepping pipe, and keeping the job moving. This project is expected to run through the summer. If you show up, work hard, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Plumbing or construction helper experience
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet
- Reliable transportation to the job site
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- Basic hand tools a plus
Responsibilities
- Set fixtures like sinks, toilets, and faucets
- Help install and repair pipe and fittings
- Cut, prep, and carry PVC, copper, and PEX
- Stage material and keep the work area clean
- Support licensed plumbers on daily tasks
