Plumber Apprentice

The U.S. Water Culligan Group•Chantilly, VA
•$23 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

This is a Water Treatment Service Technician position, not a traditional plumbing apprenticeship. The employee will not work under a licensed plumber or earn plumbing apprenticeship hours. Instead, they will complete a seven-week hands-on training program combining classroom learning, shop time, and field training. The program prepares employees to install water softeners, filtration systems, and other water treatment equipment in customers’ homes, with a career path for continued growth and advancement. The technician works in customers’ homes and businesses to install, diagnose, repair, and service water treatment equipment; explain system use and care to customers; and manage service documentation. The role involves safely operating a company vehicle and using power tools, hand tools, pipe fittings, and other equipment. The schedule offers several shift patterns, variable start times, an on-call rotation, and overtime opportunities. U.S. Water Culligan Group is one of the largest Culligan franchisees in North America, serving families and businesses across 13 locations. Culligan provides water quality solutions and describes itself as a global leader with 90 years of innovation and product excellence.
