Plumber 2 - North Central Secure Treatment Unit
About The Position
This position involves skilled work that supports the safe and reliable operation of plumbing and heating systems throughout the facility. As a Plumber 2, you will perform duties such as diagnosing issues and repairing plumbing and heating systems, fixtures, pumps, drains, pipes, and related equipment. You will also install plumbing and heating components using blueprints, sketches, and diagrams to meet facility needs, and complete routine checks and maintain equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Additionally, you will follow safety procedures, keep work areas clean to reduce hazards, and assist with layout tasks and coordinate with other trades to support efficient project completion. You will apply plumbing and pipefitting principles to determine layouts, materials, and appropriate work methods.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing components and fixtures
- Two years performing plumbing installation and repair assignments independently in commercial, industrial, or multi-unit residential structures
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Meet the PA residency requirement
- Ability to perform essential job functions
- Satisfactory criminal history reports including PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
