About The Position

Capgemini Engineering is seeking PLM Developers across junior, intermediate, and senior levels to develop Teamcenter customizations, extensions, and integrations for a major Aerospace & Defense OEM's PLM modernization project. This role is part of a blended onshore-offshore team operating within an AI-Powered software factory. Requirements

  • Hands-on Siemens Teamcenter customization (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace).
  • Software development experience appropriate to the band (Junior: 2-4 yrs, Intermediate: 4-6 yrs, Senior: 7-10+ yrs).
  • Comfort working in a distributed onshore–offshore delivery team to shared standards.
  • Solid programming (Java / C++ / web) and testing discipline.
  • Ability to build Teamcenter customizations and extensions (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace / AWC).
  • Ability to use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified.
  • Ability to implement integrations and migration utilities to technical design.
  • Ability to write testable, documented code; unit-test and support performance / security validation within CI/CD.
  • Ability to work within the distributed onshore–offshore team to shared standards.

  • Depth of Teamcenter customization skills scales with band.

Responsibilities

  • Build Teamcenter customizations and extensions (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace / AWC).
  • Use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified.
  • Implement integrations and migration utilities to technical design.
  • Write testable, documented code; unit-test and support performance / security validation within CI/CD.
  • Work within the distributed onshore–offshore team to shared standards.
  • Senior band owns complex components and mentors.
  • Junior developers build to design under guidance and learn the Teamcenter stack and AI-assisted workflow.
  • Intermediate developers deliver components independently with solid ITK / SOA / AWC skills and use AI-assisted development.
  • Senior developers own complex extensions and agent-ready services, mentor others, and possess deep Teamcenter knowledge.
