About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Solution Architect or Developer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Windchill PLM solutions. In this role, you will translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures, guide cross‑functional technical teams, and ensure successful end‑to‑end delivery of PLM capabilities. This position plays a critical role in defining system architecture, overseeing development and integrations, and ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance with established software lifecycle processes.

Requirements

Strong hands‑on experience with Windchill PLM, including PDMlink
Deep understanding of: Windchill data model, Access control (ACLs), Lifecycles and workflows, UI customization
Strong programming experience with: Java, JSPs, Windchill APIs, REST and SOAP APIs
Solid SQL and database design expertise
Experience supporting PLM implementations and enhancements within complex enterprise environments

Nice To Haves

Experience integrating Windchill with: MCAD tools (SolidWorks), ECAD tools (Altium)
Experience with PartsLink and/or ProjectLink

Responsibilities

Design and develop Windchill solution architectures for new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Create scalable, high‑performance technical architectures aligned with business objectives
Define data models, workflows, and mappings to optimize PLM and PDM processes
Lead implementation activities, including: Installation and configuration, Customization and enhancements, Testing, deployment, and performance tuning
Evaluate business and functional requirements, provide technical options, and recommend best‑practice solutions
Provide oversight for development of: Workflows, UI components, Data structures
Lead and support data migration efforts (ETL, transformation, validation, cleansing)
Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization
Conduct code reviews and provide technical signoff
