About The Position

This position is located in a manufacturing plant and is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the plant’s process control and drive programs. The role involves providing programming for plant process control equipment, assisting with the development and implementation of new PLC technologies to drive continuous improvement, and collaborating with impacted stakeholders on needs and project status. The technician will also support the plant’s networking and computer systems as needed.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability with the engineering, programming, and implementation of industrial control systems.
Proven experience with control systems components, ladder logic programming, HMI programming and their applications.
Aptitude for instrumentation and controls design.
Well developed aptitude around MO computer applications, Project and AutoCAD.
Ability to troubleshoot and install electrical circuits up to 480V.
Self-starter, with excellent organization skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Certification or specialized education in process control is preferred.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
