About The Position

This role will support the Altronex brand, a leading provider of control solutions for the municipal water and wastewater industries. The PLC/HMI Programmer will develop PLC code and HMI graphics for control systems that manage water and wastewater movement. Projects will involve new panel and MCC manufacturing, as well as custom modifications for existing control systems. The position requires the use of Microsoft Excel for programming functions and involves mostly independent work within a supportive team environment. This is an on-site position.

Requirements

• Experience programming Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs
• Comfortable with CompactLogix, MicroLogix, and some ControlLogix
• Experience with PanelView, Maple, Automation Direct, and Wonderware HMI Programs
• Self-starter
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• A 2-year degree in Automation Technology or equivalent degree
• 5+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC code for control systems.
• Develop HMI graphics for control systems.
• Work on new panels and MCCs during in-house manufacturing.
• Perform custom modifications for operational control systems.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize programming functions.
