Requirements

Degree in Electrical/Electromechanical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
8+ years’ experience in Electrical/Electromechanical/Computer Engineering
Strong automation troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work on cross-functional teams
Ability to manage both small and large projects
Must be Proficient with Siemens PLC programming, TIA Portal, Step 7 (Allen Bradley or Beckhoff PLC exp considered)
Proficient with MS-Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
All candidates for this ITAR restricted position must be one of the following: US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program.

Responsibilities

Interface with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams to generate concepts & proposals for PLC based solutions.
Estimate effort and cost of prospective solutions to customer opportunities
Design and develop programs and procedures for customer demonstrations
Interface with SW Engineering, HW Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Customer to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer problems
Develop, debug, and maintain large-scale PLC implementations for automated test equipment
Manage outsourced PLC development teams
Travel to customer locations required up to 10% of time
