About The Position

Teradyne’s Defense and Aerospace Marketing team works cross functionally to bring together Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing to create solutions that support our Armed Forces in protecting our country and our allies. The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting this mission and Teradyne revenue growth targets by developing compelling pricing justification packages, organizing proposal pricing materials, and delivering high-quality sales support. This role blends analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure our pricing strategies and proposal documents are clear, persuasive, and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Oracle ERP
  • Experience with document generation and formatting
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in marketing, sales support, pricing, or proposal development is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop Pricing Justification Packages: Create clear, data-driven pricing rationale documents that articulate value, support sales negotiations, and align with internal pricing strategies.
  • Format & Organize Proposal Pricing: Build, refine, and maintain pricing tables, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation for proposals. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and professional presentation across all deliverables.
  • Proposal Documentation Support: Collaborate with sales, finance, and product teams to gather inputs, structure pricing sections, and ensure proposal materials meet customer requirements and internal standards.
  • General Sales Support: Assist the sales team with ad-hoc requests, including preparing customer-facing materials, updating pricing sheets, and supporting the development of sales presentations and collateral.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, finance and operations to ensure pricing and proposal materials reflect current offerings, competitive positioning, and strategic priorities.
  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain version control, ensure documentation accuracy, and uphold compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.
