About The Position

To provide safe and constant recess or lunchroom supervision of students.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience that meet the requirements of the position.
• Must complete Live Scan fingerprint check; current TB test and any other required vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of students on the playground, during lunch or snack times, and at school events.
• Be aware of and implement school rules, policies and safety standards.
• Report any unsafe conditions, indoors or outdoors, to the school principal or designee.
• Alert the appropriate teacher to any problem or special situation about individual students.
• Resolve disputes or disagreements between students using techniques and protocols that are in alignment with school site or District policies, such as Restorative Approaches.
• Maintain consistent attendance.
