About The Position

A Players Club Representative enrolls guests into the club, explaining all benefits, redeeming points for cash-back/promotional play and provides support for special events. Expectations include adhering to Laguna Development Corporation (LDC) Core Values, Policies & Procedures, acting as a role model, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude toward customers and co-workers, and consistently reporting to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have two years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient with basic office equipment (e.g., computer, photocopying and faxing).
  • Experience with Kronos (Timekeeper Software), and Paramount (Purchasing Software).
  • Experience with OASIS.
  • Ability to bend over, crouch/stoop, hear, reach overhead, sit, stand, talk, turn/twist, walk, see and repetitive use of hands 51-100 % of the time.
  • Ability to push/pull 25-50 lbs. 25-50% of the time and 50+lbs. 51-100% of the time.
  • Ability to carry 1-25 lbs. 51-100% of the time and 25-50+ lbs. 25-50% of the time.
  • Ability to lift and slide/transfer 1-25 lbs. 51-100% of the time and 25-50 lbs. 25-50% of the time.
  • Ability to interpret data, read and write 51-100% of the time.
  • Ability to problem solve, organize, plan and make decisions 25-50% of the time.
  • Obtain and maintain a gaming license through the Pueblo of Laguna’s Gaming Control Board.
  • Comply with LDC and the Federal Government Bank Secrecy Act by acquiring and/or maintaining a Title 31 Certification.
  • MUST PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT ALCOHOL/DRUG SCREENING.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and promote the Player’s Club, explaining benefits (e.g., cash back/reward bucks, bonus points, redemption, award levels).
  • Assist players with membership applications, set up player accounts in OASIS, take player photos, print/reprint player cards, and explain card usage.
  • Walk the casino floor enrolling "hot players" into the club.
  • Handle routine problems with guests and LDC employees with initiative, professionalism, and courtesy.
  • Generate excitement and provide personal attention to customers.
  • Stock cabinets with promotional items and keep work areas clean.
  • Distribute promotional items (e.g., coupons, gifts, or player cards).
  • Inform players of promotion booth locations, and upcoming or ending promotions.
  • Write and prepare standard reports and documents.
  • Maintain knowledge of all slot marketing activities, events, games, advertising, and casino marketing.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information (e.g., guest/player information, financial data, casino player data, policies and marketing plans).
  • Maintain a courteous, positive, and professional working relationship with all LDC personnel and the general public.
  • Build relationships and loyalty with guests through sincere and meaningful interactions.
  • Work under pressure and maintain regular and punctual attendance, including working odd or unusual hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be a team player, working toward team goals and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of services, amenities, and surroundings, providing accurate directions and information for guest inquiries.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
