About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Player Starter/ Assistant for Trappers Turn Golf Club. The role provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional golf experience for guests and supports the team in following the Kalahari Promise. As part of the leadership team, the position guides, supports, and inspires associates while helping deliver extraordinary guest experiences.

Requirements

• Excellent in-person communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to guests, clients, and other associates.
• Good mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Interact with golfers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Inform players about course conditions and local rules.
• Keep tee times moving on schedule and in an orderly manner.
• Communicate with the golf shop and maintain an accurate, up-to-date tee sheet.
• Track players and their speed of play.
• Communicate potential pace-of-play problems to course marshals.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by a manager or supervisor.
