About The Position

Under general supervision, the Player Services Supervisor plays a key role in enhancing the overall golf experience for members and guests. This position acts as a liaison between Inside and Outside Golf, ensuring a positive and seamless golf experience. The role involves supervisory responsibility for Player Service Team Leads, Player Services Reps, and/or Cart Washers, working under the direction of the golf club management.

Requirements

High School Degree/GED.
Prior Player Services (Outside Golf) experience required.
Ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll database.
Ability to use golf-related databases.
Valid State Driver’s License.
Ability to work schedule required to fulfill duties of position.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.
Must seek approval from supervisor before incurring overtime.
Schedule flexibility which may include weekends and holidays.
Ability to drive and move around the golf course by driving a golf cart and/or walking.
Standing for long periods of time.
Requires physical endurance including bending.
Regularly required to talk and actively listen.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to adjust focus, and manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination.
Work around people.
Must use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
Exposure to noise, dust, heat and inclement weather conditions.
Frequent lifting and carrying equipment, such as golf bags, which may weigh up to 50 pounds or more.
Category I: The position regularly involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or similar materials.
This position is a safety-sensitive position.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience in a golf course or service industry environment.
Basic knowledge of golf including etiquette, golf club’s course layout and services offered.
Self-starter and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all golf guests receive high quality service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Foster a welcoming environment.
Oversee the player services and cart washer team, providing training, guidance and support to staff to maintain service standards.
Provide instructions and feedback to ensure that the team completes tasks and are understood.
Coordinate daily operations related to the golf course, including cart rentals, course readiness, and tee time scheduling with Inside Golf.
Assist in the organization and execution of golf tournaments to ensure all player services run smoothly.
Coordinate with the Grounds Department to ensure the course is in optimal and safe condition for play.
Perform both the Player Services Rep and Cart Washer roles, including managing golf carts, maintaining cleanliness, and understanding schedule integration with the tee sheet and seasonal variations.
Ensure carts are in good condition and distributed based on usage and needs, and keep records of carts in need of service.
Ensure that lost equipment is tracked and inventoried appropriately.
Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled.
Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
