About The Position

The Player Services team member is often the first and last point of contact for our members and guests. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards for our golf operation and amenities. Player Services staff help create a welcoming, professional experience by ensuring the Bag Drop, Cart Barn, Bag Storage, and Practice Facilities are clean, organized, and operating efficiently at all times.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Valid state driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) is required.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Predictable and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 80% of the scheduled shift.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry 30 pounds or more.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments during all seasons, including prolonged exposure to heat, sunlight, cold, and other weather conditions.
  • Ability to work extended shifts, including weekends, holidays, and occasional shifts exceeding 10 hours based on operational needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous golf industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to members and guests, creating a positive and memorable experience.
  • Operate and maintain the bag drop and cart staging areas.
  • Maintain, clean, and care for the Club's golf cart fleet.
  • Prepare, maintain, and operate the practice facility.
  • Manage member bag storage with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of golf tournaments, outings, and Club events.
  • Communicate effectively with members, guests, and fellow team members through a variety of communication channels.
  • Provide transportation assistance throughout the property as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Remain visible, attentive, and available to assist members and guests throughout each shift.
  • Wear the designated Club uniform and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, manager, or Golf Professional staff.
