About The Position

Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona, is hiring a part-time Player Assistant. As a member of the operations team, the role monitors pace of play and provides guests with friendly, helpful, high-quality customer service. The position works in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment and supports course operations and guest experience.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
• Must have a strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must be dependable.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge about the game of golf is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses.
• Communicate and assist the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play.
• Communicate with the Starter and Pro Shop about pace-of-play concerns.
• Monitor course cleanliness.
• Assist Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
• Advise guests about course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules, and other golf-related issues.
• Implement and support course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
