About The Position
The Plating Technician will process stainless steel and aluminum parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries utilizing metal finishing processes such as plating. This role ensures waste treatment and environmental compliance using established methods of chemistry. The technician will also assist in equipment maintenance as required and must be able to follow written and oral directions and demonstrated procedures involving the safe and logical transfer of liquid and solid chemicals used in metal finishing.
Requirements
- Basic nickel plating knowledge/skills
- Ability to unmask and clean
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- 0-2 years’ experience in metal finishing processes such as cleaning, anodization, plating etc.
