About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring a Plating Technician in Valencia, CA. This role is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and preparing parts for Cadmium plating. The technician will perform chemical processing, including hard chrome, sulfamate nickel, and LHE cadmium plating, on landing gear components in accordance with company, customer, Nadcap, and OEM policies and procedures. A key part of the role involves working with and providing technical support to fellow platers, planners, and lab technicians on matters related to chemical processing. Ensuring that processing is accurately documented in accordance with internal, customer, OEM, and FAA requirements, including documentation of maintenance performed on the work order/traveler, bill of materials, picture sheets, and logs, is also a critical responsibility.

Requirements

Previous employment experience for the services sought.
Practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, and equipment generally used for maintenance activities performed by the repair station, specifically as they relate to chemical processing.

Responsibilities
