About The Position

This position is responsible for operating department-specific wet process equipment, including Plating, automatic plate lines, deposition, strip, etch, reflow, and ASF. The role involves following all short sheets, standard operating procedures, and Amphenol's company safety regulations. Duties include assisting with department-specific preventative maintenance schedules, executing multiple tasks and instructions to meet production deadlines, and participating in continuous improvement activities as needed. The position also requires maintaining a positive work environment and may involve overtime, cross-training in other departments, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be a motivated self-starter, be independent, work with limited supervision.
Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
Participate in Chemical Awareness and Chemical Handling certifications.
Required to pass respirator physical.
Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.
Must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship.
Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

Nice To Haves

Basic computer experience a plus - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.
2+ Years PCB experience with Prior Plating experience preferred.
