About The Position

The Plating Technician is responsible for processing stainless steel and aluminum parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries using various metal finishing processes, including plating. This role also involves ensuring waste treatment and environmental compliance through established chemical methods, assisting with equipment maintenance, and safely handling liquid and solid chemicals according to written and oral procedures.

Requirements

• Basic nickel plating knowledge/skills
• Ability to unmask and clean
• High school education or GED equivalent
• Must have basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• 0-2 years’ experience in metal finishing processes such as cleaning, anodization, plating etc.

Responsibilities

• Processes stainless steel and aluminum parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries utilizing metal finishing processes such as plating
• Ensures waste treatment and environmental compliance using established methods of chemistry
• Assists in equipment maintenance as required
• Must be able to follow written, oral direction and demonstrated procedures involving the safe and logical transfer of liquid and solid chemicals used in metal finishing
