The Plating Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and tending plating and/or coating equipment to apply nickel, cadmium, or other materials to metal surfaces for protection or finishing, including electrolytic processes. This role involves working in an environment that may not be suitable for individuals with sensitivities or allergies to nickel or other metals. The position requires working 10-hour days, 4 days a week, with the shift starting at 2:00 PM. It is eligible for additional compensation through a shift differential and a special process incentive.
