About The Position

Teledyne Relays is seeking a Plating Technician to support precision manufacturing for advanced switching solutions. This role is responsible for maintaining production requirements and ensuring quality standards through performing plating and cleaning operations, maintaining chemical baths, and following strict safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and short correspondence.
• Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using micrometers, microscopes, and basic computer applications.
• Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required).

Responsibilities

• Plate and clean components per process specifications, including degreasing and header, cover, and diode cleaning lines.
• Prepare acid and alkaline solutions and maintain rinse waters daily.
• Monitor and maintain process bath levels while adhering to safety procedures.
• Perform housekeeping and administrative tasks, including maintaining logs for temperature, filter, and chemical usage.
• Report issues to the process control lab and supervisor.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality and customer specifications.
• Use micrometers, microscopes, and computers for measurements and documentation.
• Perform equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean.
