About The Position

This position involves performing various electroplating processes to deposit metals on printed circuit boards. The operator must be able to read and follow written directions on shop travelers and work instructions. Adherence to all health and safety guidelines, including maintaining a clean and organized work area, is required. The role also necessitates the use of appropriate safety equipment and annual RCRA and safety training. The work schedule for the weekend shift is 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday - Monday. This position is eligible for a $2 weekend shift differential and overtime as needed.

Ability to produce quality work under pressure.
Able to understand and follow daily work direction and process instructions in English as received verbally or in writing from supervisor or other qualified person.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in noisy environment (hearing protection provided).
Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours.
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of chemistry and electroplating processes preferred.
Previous printed circuit board manufacturing experience preferred.
General manufacturing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

Operate repetitive plating and wet process machines to plate circuits onto panes, e.g., deposition process.
Manually perform or operate machines requiring setups, constant monitoring and periodic adjustments in speed, temperature and/or chemical levels.
Set appropriate speed on conveyor and run product in the most efficient manner.
Product verification of panels processed.
Preventive maintenance on equipment.
Check levels of chemical baths.
Follow all RCRA standards as outlined by the certification that he or she has been trained to at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
