About The Position

JLL is seeking a Platform Engineer to lead the next phase of integration work across its globally deployed Aravo supplier platform, which supports the Workplace Management business. The role will design and deliver integrations between Aravo and PeopleSoft, Trustpair, Ingenious, Omnea, Yardi, Avetta, and ISN, and complete phase 2 of the Aravo-to-Corrigo integration for Certificates of Insurance. In addition to integration delivery, the Platform Engineer will own Trustpair operations on behalf of JLL Technology, including change management, SOC audit responses, and relationships with Trustpair business stakeholders. The position works cross-functionally with Sourcing & Procurement, Finance, Procurement, and the Enterprise Data Platform team. It is based on-site in Chicago, Illinois. The position does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Real experience building and maintaining system-to-system integrations (API, file-based, or middleware) in an enterprise environment.

  • Comfort operating within a formal change management process and familiarity with SOC audit expectations.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to manage scope across technical and business/finance relationships.
  • High attention to detail, given the impact of errors on supplier payments and compliance data.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple concurrent integrations and escalate significant gaps without requiring day-to-day direction.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Claude to support documentation, requirements analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office tools, including Teams, Visio, and Excel, and the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

  • Own technical design, data mapping, and validation logic for integrations, including error handling and reconciliation processes.
  • Serve as operational owner for Trustpair, managing change management processes, SOC compliance audit responses, and relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sourcing & Procurement, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration designs while balancing business needs, platform scope, and maintainability.
  • Ensure integrations align with Aravo’s configuration structure and data model and JLL’s broader integration architecture and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) team on integration architecture and design consistency.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and data discrepancies, coordinating with connected-system platform owners on root cause and resolution.
