About The Position

Workbrew’s mission is to make all the world’s software discoverable and instantly available to everyone. Our customers, IT administrators, use Workbrew to promote their security posture and enable tool choice in their organizations. Our fully-remote team is spread across North America, Europe, and Asia, and includes alumni of remote-first organizations like 37Signals and GitHub. There is no “HQ” and we have no plans to open one. We're hiring a Platform Engineer to help build the future of software management on Windows. Workbrew supports Windows today through WSL; this role leads new, native development to give Windows users an experience on par with what we offer on macOS. This role is for an exceptional systems engineer and software developer who loves working close to the operating system. You'll help design and build the core technology that powers Workbrew's Windows offerings, including native applications, device management integrations, security controls, software distribution systems, and developer tooling. The ideal candidate combines deep Windows expertise with strong systems programming fundamentals and a security-first mindset. They are equally comfortable building native applications and services in C#/.NET, designing backend services in Go, and debugging complex interactions between applications, operating systems, and infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant technical influence. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and security teams to define the future of Workbrew's platform.
