Platform Engineer, Revenue Operations

NooksSan Francisco, CA
$200,000 - $230,000Hybrid

About The Position

Nooks is an applied AI lab building the Agent Workspace for GTM. We design AI agents that operate across the full sales action set, from account strategy to prospect research and outreach. Building 0→1 has never been easier, but selling at the speed of the market remains the last frontier for AI. Our mission is to 10x every seller by automating the busywork so they can focus on what humans do best: closing deals. Today, over 1,500 customers run on Nooks, including Notion, HubSpot, Cursor, and Rippling. We’ve raised $70M+ from top VCs like Kleiner Perkins, which made its first sales-tech investment in over a decade with us. Since then, we’ve tripled ARR each year for 3 years running and grown a high-caliber team turning the art of sales into a scalable science.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in GTM systems, RevOps engineering, or CRM administration within a revenue organization, with recent hands-on work building AI-assisted systems weighted over total tenure; direct GTM experience is a requirement
  • Hands-on HubSpot Sales Hub administration experience: workflows, property and object architecture, permissions, and data governance (deep Salesforce administration with HubSpot exposure may also fit)
  • You have built and shipped agentic applications with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) that run real business processes in production, whether GTM automations, internal agents, or custom apps a team depends on daily
  • A track record of cleaning up and governing CRM data at scale, and of designing for rep experience rather than admin convenience
  • Strong SQL and working Python; production experience with a data warehouse (Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)
  • Experience building and operating data pipelines and third-party API integrations in production, including error handling, monitoring, and backfills
  • High ownership mentality: you run toward ambiguous problems, fix root causes, and leave systems better documented than you found them
  • Pragmatic judgment: you can weigh build vs. buy, follow established best practices where they exist, and explain your decisions to non-engineers

Responsibilities

  • Own the revenue data warehouse that consolidates CRM, product usage, and billing data: schema design, data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and performance
  • Run and evolve a fleet of 80+ production services covering churn-signal syncs, account scoring, enrichment, and reporting, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response
  • Build and extend our AI agent infrastructure: an orchestration layer of specialist agents that automate recurring RevOps and GTM work, from reporting to multi-step workflow execution
  • Design and maintain the integrations that move data between HubSpot, our product database, billing, enrichment tools, and the analytics layer, with the error handling and backfill tooling production data flows require
  • Administer HubSpot Sales CRM as the platform's front end: object and field architecture, permissions, workflows, and governance built along CRM best practices
  • Own CRM field and data cleanup, deduplication, and governance so the CRM stays accurate and trusted as the company scales
  • Optimize HubSpot for rep experience, designing views, workflows, and automations so sellers spend their time selling rather than fighting the system
  • Set the technical direction for the estate you inherit: evaluate new data and AI infrastructure, make build vs. buy calls, and keep the architecture documented and simple enough to reason about
