Platform Engineer

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a DevOps Platform Engineer with experience in cloud-based DevOps solutions and proficiency in tools like Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Concourse CI. The role involves deploying and maintaining critical applications on cloud-native architecture, implementing secure automation and infrastructure as code, and managing CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments. The engineer will collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team, contribute to the direction of software products, and iterate on best practices for efficient and high-quality deployments. Additionally, knowledge of cloud services, configuration management tools, PaaS products, security scanning tools, and the Risk Management Framework is required.

• Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native architecture
• Implement secure automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure as code
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
• Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to configure cloud services such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience implementing CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Concourse CI
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chef
• Previous experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) products such as Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and RKE2
• Demonstrated experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, OWASP-DC, Anchore, Claire, Dagda, and OpenSCAP
• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience writing responses to security controls and deploying secure systems
