Platform Architects - Oracle Cloud Service Repairs Menomonee Falls, WI (53051 ) Job Duties: Lead and partner with business, solution delivery, engineering and other segments of IT to own and drive solutions across stakeholders primarily in global service logistics and depot repairs which will include customer return for repair, asset management through repair process, creating work orders, executing repairs, cost and billing management, return shipping, Inventory Management, and Quality Management. Own the Oracle design (encompassing process, data and system architectures) with solutions to support the evolution of global service logistics and associated functions. Partner across multiple platform systems and/or functional areas to create and manage streamlined business process solutions across those platforms. Determine request urgency and alignment to business strategy. Collaborate with business owners to develop business cases. Design and negotiate the delivery schedule for all requests with the business and collaborate with other components to align schedules. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true need. Gather, document, analyze and obtain approval on business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business requirements to functional requirements, develop functional design in adherence with architecture standards and principles, and provide clarification of technical requirements as input for a dedicated technical development staff. Complete impact assessments that outline the functional impact of new functionality and enhancements. Document and maintain request and requirements traceability within the request system of record. Configure functional application solution as part of the build and test phase of solution delivery. Coordinate and partner with other parts of the build to drive a complete end to end solution. Work independently and as a member of the IT team in the application development lifecycle, including the design, coordination and execution of testing of new or upgraded application functionality. Interact with all levels of stakeholders across the company; deliver information to executives, and work with Applications, Program Management and Operations team members to define user requirements. Lead the definition of functional strategy and vision and identify innovation opportunities for overall Service solution. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, related technical field, foreign degree equivalent, or combination of education, training, or experience deemed equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned fields, and 7 years of relevant business analyst experience; OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, related technical field, foreign degree equivalent, or combination of education, training, or experience deemed equivalent to a U.S. Master's degree in one of the aforementioned fields, and 5 years of relevant business analyst experience. Work or academic experience must have included: Service logistics in service and repair process Oracle ERP (Oracle Service Logistics Cloud or Oracle eBusiness Suite) Executing full cycle of ERP implementations in a global firm Program Governance (waterfall and agile methodologies) Project management methodologies (PMI, Waterfall or Agile) Building and implementing multi-year roadmaps SQL and data querying tools (OTBI and SQL Connect) Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), web services SOAP/REST, APIs, and automation Performance testing and performance testing data analysis 10% of domestic and international travel is required. #LI-DNI Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
