Requirements

  • Prior plating shop experience performing masking and other pre-plating operations preferred.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to details.
  • Good organization skills, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • To perform routine tasks related to the preparation of parts for electroplating & related finishing operations under moderate supervision.
  • Masking part surfaces using tapes, plugs, stop lacquer, wax & custom fixturing.
  • Wiring or mounting parts on racks, sandblasting, visual inspection of parts for defects or damage prior to processing.
  • Handling and packaging of parts post-plating.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
