Requirements

Prior plating shop experience performing masking and other pre-plating operations preferred.
Strong manual dexterity and attention to details.
Good organization skills, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Ability to clearly communicate issues and collaborate with team members.
Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

To perform routine tasks related to the preparation of parts for electroplating & related finishing operations under moderate supervision.
Masking part surfaces using tapes, plugs, stop lacquer, wax & custom fixturing.
Wiring or mounting parts on racks, sandblasting, visual inspection of parts for defects or damage prior to processing.
Handling and packaging of parts post-plating.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
