About The Position

The purpose of this position is to ensure proper operation of the Plastic Pelletizing department.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel) including the ability to generate graphs,
• Ability to work effectively in group environments as well as independently.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid US Driver’s License
• Authorization to work in the United States

• Environmental training applicable to the job and safety training for applicable equipment.
• Job instruction training, including SWI’s.
• Scissor-lift, Yard Truck, Skid Steer, and forklift equipment (with appropriate qualifications).
• Significant environmental air aspects and impacts.

• Journey to Excellence training (Lean manufacturing Rules, Tools. and Principles)

Responsibilities

• Maintain steady flow of plastic from the hopper to the belt.
• Produce reliable and accurate monitoring reports and transcribe data into MS Word and/or Excel
• Serve as additional support to Plastic Plant on an as-needed basis.
• Operate skid steer, yard truck and fork-lift safely.
• Comply with all health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
