About The Position

The Plastics Processor role involves providing direct support to the Process/Project Lead and Lead Process Technician. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and adjusting molding parameters to ensure quality and maximize product output, performing problem-solving to address customer issues and drive continuous improvement, and implementing corrective technical or mechanical solutions. The role also requires reading specifications to set up equipment, regulating molding temperature, volume, pressure, and time, recording necessary data, and assisting with mold setup.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work modified hours on short notice.
• Ability to communicate across departments professionally.
• At least 3 years in the injection molding industry.
• Ability to lift 50lbs, stand, bend and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Able to use measuring tools to determine that Quality Assurance specifications are met.

Nice To Haves

• Training in the basics of scientific molding, or 3 years staff/floor support in injection molding.

Responsibilities
