About The Position
This is a basic level position for operating injection molding machines following demonstrated directions. The operator will cycle machines, remove scrap material from parts, and check molded parts through gaging and visual inspection. Any deficiencies will be reported to supervisors or leads.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to follow demonstrated directions.
- Good communication of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to read written instructions, use simple math and use basic hand held measuring tools.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic mold press operations.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
