About The Position

As our Plastic Surgeon, you will access a premier opportunity in plastic and reconstructive surgery within a thriving multi-specialty group in Gold River, CA. Join a supportive environment within the CommonSpirit Health system, leveraging our strong referral network and state-of-the-art facilities to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Every day, you will perform a comprehensive range of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures, including advanced microsurgical free flap reconstruction. You'll provide essential consultative services to both inpatient and outpatient referrals, meticulously managing pre-operative and post-operative care. This role demands collaboration with diverse multidisciplinary teams, including oncology, trauma, and orthopedic surgery, all while contributing to vital quality improvement initiatives and departmental committees, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency
  • Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
  • Proficiency in microsurgery, including free flap reconstruction
  • Active California medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • DEA registration and ability to obtain hospital privileges
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills
  • Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and team collaboration
